Mediator and arbitrator.

December, 1996-January, 2007:

Judge, Court of Common Pleas of Lucas County, Ohio. Elected in 1996, and re-elected in 2000. Served as Administrative Judge for the General Division in 2005. Served as Presiding Judge of all divisions of the Lucas County Common Pleas Court in 2006.

 

December, 1975-December, 1996:

Private Practice of Law. General practice, including litigation and appeals,criminal law, Civil Rights, Social Security, personal injury,and probate.

 

September, 1991-November, 1996:

Magistrate, Toledo Municipal Court (part time). Small Claims Court, criminal and traffic arraignments and sentencings, garnishment, replevin and license suspension hearings.

 

January, 1985-September, 1991:

President and legal counsel of Wittenberg Associates Agency, Inc. a family and closely held corporation.

 

April, 1973-November, 1975:

Ohio Attorney General's Office, Assistant Attorney General. Areas of practice included trials and appeals, eminent domain, environmental law, real property

law, Civil Rights, contracts and administrative law.

 

November, 1989:

Elected to the Board of Education of the Sylvania City Public School System for a four year term. Re-elected in 1993. Served as president of the School Board in 1992 and 1995. Resigned in 1997 upon election to the Common Pleas Court.

The University of Toledo, College of Arts and Sciences. Bachelor of Arts.
